Breaking news today that Nebraska has fired head football coach Bo Pelini.
While the news isn't exactly a shocker, as Pelini had a troubled campaign in 2013, you gotta wonder what exactly Nebraska is thinking on this one to fire a coach that has never had a season with less than nine wins.

2008 - 9-4, 2009 - 9-4, 2010 - 10-4, 2011 - 9-4, 2012 - 10-4, 2013 - 9-4, 2014 - 9-3
Career record - 64-27 (.713) - Wow, winning 71 percent of your games gets you fired these days.
Of course this is Nebraska we are talking about and I'm guessing Husker Nation doesn't take too kindly to getting their ass kicked by Wisconsin last week. To see a Nebraska team that was built on defense and toughness about a decade ago give up 400 plus rushing yards to Melvin Gordon is just unfathomable to me, and is probably what cost Pelini his job.
